The Red Hill Junior High 8th Grade basketball Miss Salukis have advanced to the semifinals of the Class 8-2A Regional tournament at Palestine. They were winners 20-10 over Casey-Westfield in first round action Monday night. The 5th seeds will play in the semifinals Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. against top seeded Louisville North Clay. The winner moves on to the tournament championship Thursday. Meanwhile, The Parkview 8th Grade Lady Braves had their season end Monday night in the opening round of the Class 8-3A Regional at Paris Mayo. They suffered a 32-26 loss to 3rd seeded Toledo Cumberland.
