A 2014 Semi Truck owned by Bestway Express of Vincennes caught on fire early Tuesday morning. Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District were called out to US 50 one mile east of the Mid-American Air Center exit where the truck was located. Firefighters contained the fire to the truck’s box trailer. There were no injuries reported. The fire was caused by a mechanical problem. It did an estimated $2,000 worth of damage to the truck.
