The Parkview 8th grade basketball Braves opened their season Saturday with a third place finish in the Olney Pre-season tournament at Richland County Middle School. In game 1 host Olney beat Red Hill Junior High 63-7 and in game 2 Mt Carmel knocked off Parkview 66-19. The Braves then beat the Salukis 30-13 to capture third place. The Braves will be back in action Tuesday at Hutsonville.
