The Edwards County Lady Volleyball Lions captured the Lawrenceville Class 2A regional title Thursday night. The Lady Lions held off the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs in two 25-17 25-18. It was the 13th straight regional championship for the powerhouse Edwards County program. The Lady Lions now advance on to the Toledo Cumberland Sectional next week. They will face Pana in the semi-finals Monday at 5:30.
