Temperatures will drop below freezing during overnight Saturday night through early Sunday morning, with lows in the upper 20s by dawn Sunday morning across southeast Illinois. A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will likely kill most vegetation left outdoors if not covered.
