A Vincennes man was arrested in connection with a fire Wednesday at Doll’s Motel on Old U-S 41 just south of Vincennes. Firefighters were called to the motel at around 2:40 a-m eastern, and stayed on the scene for almost five hours. Flames were coming from one of the motel’s rooms, and firefighters extinguished the fire soon after arrival. There were no reported injuries. The fire damaged the room where it started, and part of an adjacent room. Vincennes City Police arrested 48 year-old Brian Detty at a business on Willow Street on a charge of Arson. Detty was taken to the Knox County Jail.
