The Vincennes City Council met in regular session Tuesday evening. The City Council unanimously approved a just under 15 million dollar budget for 2019, including a just over ten and a half million dollar tax levy. The council also approved a salary ordinance to take effect in January. The budget and salary ordinance will now go before the Department of Local Government Finance for final review and approval.
