The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Girls Cross Country Team captured the Little Illini Conference title for the second year in a row. They won by placing first in the meet held Tuesday at Olney. Five of the Lady Indians finished in the top 15 to clinch the championship with 32 points. Newton was 2nd with 49, Olney 3rd with 63, and Robinson was 4th. Three girls were in the top ten as individuals and were All-Conference–Katie Moore (2nd) Ophelia Klein (3rd) and Kyanne Waggoner (7th). For Waggonner it was her 3rd All-LIC award. Meanwhile, the boys team finished fourth in their meet with 91 points. Robinson won the title with 37 points followed by host Olney with 45 and Marshall was third with 62. Top finisher was Blaine Hesler who was 12th.  Both teams are back in action Saturday when they head to Peoria Heights for a meet.
