Fire damaged a home in the 1500 block of 13th Street in Lawrenceville early this morning. Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District and Bridgeport Fire Protection District were called out to the Michael Carie residence at around 1:35 a.m. There were no injuries reported. The fire did around $15,000 worth of damage. Officials say the fire was caused by a malfunction in an air conditioner.
