Fire did minor damage to the roof of Vigo Elementary School in Vincennes Wednesday afternoon. Vincennes Fire crews were notified by a passer-by around 4:50 pm eastern. Firemen were on the scene for around 90 minutes. An estimated $5,000 worth of damage was done to the roof’s insulation. There were no injuries reported. No students were affected since the school going through a total renovation. The cause of the roof fire is under investigation at this time.
