The Milwaukee Brewers are 2018 National League Central Division champions. They beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1 Tuesday afternoon at Wrigley Field in the tiebreaking game. The game was tied at 1-1 in the top of the eighth inning when Lorenzo Cain and Ryan Braun delivered RBI singles to put the Brewers on top for good. Anthony Rizzo homered for the only Cub run on the day. Christian Yelich of the Brewers had three hits including a run scoring single on the day. The Cubs did have the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the ninth but Rizzo flew out to right center field to end the game. The loss means the Cubs are the first wild card and will host the game Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies at Wrigley. The winner will move on to face the Brewers in the divisional series. Jon Lester is scheduled to pitch for the Cubs against Kyle Freeland for the Rockies. You can catch the game on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with pregame programming at 6:25 p.m. Central time 7:25 Eastern.
