An Olney bicyclist was injured in a car-bicycle crash in Flora Saturday night. 24-year-old Dallas Harmon of Olney was riding eastbound on Old US 50 east of Airport Road without any lighting on his bicycle. An eastbound car driven by 77-year-old Carrol Colclasure of Flora struck the back of the bike causing Harmon to be ejected. Harmon was taken to the Clay County Hospital in Flora before being air-lifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Harmon was later transferred to University of Indiana Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Harmon was cited by Illinois State Police for operating a bicycle without lighting during nighttime hours. Colclasure was cited for operating a motor vehicle with an expired drivers license.
