General Election Set for November 6th

   The Illinois General Election is set for Tuesday, November 6th. All 24 precincts in Lawrence County will have their polling places open from 6 am to 7 pm that day. Every registered voter will have the opportunity to vote. The last day to register or change your address is October 9th. Anyone wanting to vote but is unable to go to the polls can call the County Clerk’s office at 943-2356 and request that a vote by mail ballot be mailed to them. The absolute last day that a vote by mail ballot can be sent out is November 1st. Anyone who is disabled but can go to the polls can request voting assistance by affidavit on election day.
