The Illinois Department of Public Health has released a report for both campuses of the United Methodist Village in Lawrencville. According to the report, the United Methodist Village failed to separate personal and business accounts and also failed to prevent misappropriation of residents’ trust fund accounts. The report also stated that the facility failed to notify local law enforcement of an allegation of financial abuse of residents and also failed to initiate and thoroughly investigate an allegation of abuse. The report was dated August 29th.
