For the first time in a long time the Red Hill Football Salukis have lost a Little Illini Conference game. The Dawgs suffered their first league loss since 2016 when they were beaten 34-14 Saturday in the annual Homecoming contest at Bridgeport. The Tigers used big plays offensively and defensively to pick up the win. The visitors led 7-6 after one quarter, 14-6 at the half, 26-14 after three quarters enroute to their fourth win against no losses. The Salukis had quarterback Drake Allen score both of their touchdowns on the day and running back Drew Moore was bottled up by the strong Paris defense. The Salukis will look to rebound on the road Friday when they head to Newton with a 3-1 record.
