The United Methodist Village held two listening sessions with Bishop Frank Beard of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference Thursday. The sessions were held in the chapel at the North Campus. Beard shared information from the board of directors and listened to concerns from employees, residents and their families, and concerned citizens. Beard said the problems at the United Methodist Village are large and complex, but did assure those in attendance that actions will be taken to correct them in the future. Beard didn’t offer specifics, but did say the board would disseminate the information gathered and work with a consultant toward a solution.
