BREWERS HAMMER CUBS AT WRIGLEY

Ryan Braun hit two of Milwaukee’s four home runs to back the solid pitching of Jhoulys Chacin in a 7-0 victory Tuesday afternoon over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Lorenzo Cain and Eric Kratz also went deep for the Brewers on the day. Chacin allowed only three hits and struck out 10 in seven innings to pick up the win. The Brewers cut the Cubs lead in the NL Central Division to two games. Jose Quintana was roughed up in the loss giving up five runs and six hits in five innings. The two teams will finish up the brief two game series Wednesday with Junior Guerra (6-7) going for Milwaukee and Kyle Hendricks (8-9) pitching for the Cubs. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning at 12:45 p.m. Central Time 1:45 Eastern.
