Anthony Rizzo drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday to break a 2-2 tie and give the Chicago Cubs a 3-2 win over the Washington Nationals in the opener of their three game series at Wrigley Field. Nationals pitcher Jeremy Hellickson was working on a no-hitter until the bottom of the sixth when Jason Heyward tied the contest with a two run single. The win increased the Cub lead in the National League Central to three games over Milwaukee who lost to Atlanta. Game two is a late afternoon start Saturday with Tanner Roark (6-12) going for the Nats against Jon Lester (12-4) for the Cubs. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 2:30 p.m. Central Time 3:30 Eastern.
