John Eugene Richardville, age 57 of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital due to complications from a long-term illness. He was born March 12, 1961 in Vincennes, IN to Charles Eugene “Charlie” Richardville and Ruth Anita Gibson Richardville Pumphrey.
As a young man, John served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. John had worked as a truck driver, an oil field hand, and most recently at Toyota-Road and Rail.
Surviving family includes: his mother- Ruth Anita Pumphrey and her husband of Rockford: his father- Charles Eugene “Charlie” Richardville and his wife Melissa of Bridgeport: one brother- Chuck Richardville of Bridgeport: one sister- Brenda K. Harmon of Rockford: two step-children- Michelle and David Boyd: and his companion- Nancy Runan of Bridgeport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rae Ann Richardville.
There are no formal services planned at this point. As per John’s wishes, cremation will take place. Cunningham Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
