David Freese doubled home the tie-breaking run late and both Gregory Polanco and Francisco Cervelli homered to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs in game one of their two game set at PNC Park Tuesday night. The Pirates won for the 16th time in 20 games by getting to Cub starter and loser Jon Lester in the middle innings and holding on late. The finale of the series is Wednesday night with newly aqquired left hander Cole Hamels scheduled to make his Cub debut against Nick Kingham (5-5) for the Pirates. The action can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 5:30 p.m. Central Time 6:30 Eastern.
