Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident near Casey Thursday afternoon. 37 year-old Jennifer Cline of Casey was driving westbound along U.S. 40, approximately 1 mile east of Casey, when her vehicle crossed the center line and into the path of 44 year-old Travis East also of Casey, who was on the road traveling in the opposite direction. East was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute, while Cline was transported to Carle Hospital in Urbana. Cline was charged with improper lane usage. The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
