Body Found in Wabash River

A body was discovered in the Wabash River Wednesday night. The body was recovered in the Wabash around two and a half miles south of Indiana State Road 154 between Merom, Indiana and Hutsonville, Illinois at around nine eastern last night. Sullivan County authorities believe the body of the adult white male had been in the water for less than two days. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the body or the cause of death.  Indiana State Police experts have been called in to help with the investigation. An autopsy is set for this afternoon in Terre Haute.
