A single-vehicle accident occurred in Lawrence County over the weekend. Dakota Deaton of St. Francisville was driving west on US 50 near River Run Estates northwest of Lawrenceville Saturday afternoon when a mechanical issue with the steering wheel caused Deaton to lose control. The vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed. Both Deaton and a passenger escaped injury. The 2012 Subaru had to be towed from the scene.
