Illinois State Police District 12 Commander Cory Ristvedt has announced the results of Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) patrols in Richland and Lawrence counties during June. These ACE patrols allowed State Police to focus on preventing, detecting, and taking enforcement action in response to violations associated with impaired driving and illegal transportation or consumption of alcohol or drugs. There were 2 Alcohol/Drug Citations, 2 Occupant Restraint Offenses, 3 Registration Offenses, 3 Driver’s License Offenses and 1 Insurance Violation. There were 10 Total Citations/Arrests and 31 Total Written Warnings. This project is funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
