Dubois County Driver Accused of Drug Possession

A Dubois County man was arrested during a Thursday night traffic stop after authorities reported discovering drug-related items. Jasper Police stopped a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by 39 year-old Casey P. Cole Sr. after he allegedly disregarded the traffic signal at 15th and Newton street. Police report finding Cole in possession of multiple syringes and spoons with residue on them that were suspected of being used to inject methamphetamine into the body. Authorities took Cole to the Dubois County Security Center on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes and a preliminary misdemeanor count of possession of paraphernalia.
