A Wadesville, Indiana man died after drowning in a private lake on his property when he fell in from a boat while fishing. Indiana conservation officers say the body of 77 year-old Dennis Happel was recovered in 10 to 12 feet of water Tuesday morning. Officers say Happel fell in just before 10 a.m. while trying to unhook a fishing hook from a bass he had caught. Happel’s wife was unable to save him and contacted 9-1-1. Officers say the boat Happel fell from was almost 10 feet long.
