CUBS WIN IN EXTRA INNINGS AND MOVE INTO FIRST IN CENTRAL

Anthony Rizzo homered down the right field line to spark a five run top of the 11th inning to help the Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-2 and jump into first place in the NL Central. Rizzo’s blast off of Matt Albers snapped a 2-2 tie. The Cubs added four more runs keyed by a Jason Heyward two run double. Randy Rosario retired all six batters he faced to pick up the win for the Cubs. They now lead the division by one half game and won over the Brewers for the seventh straight time. The series continues Tuesday night at Miller Park with Tyler Chatwood going for the Cubs at 3-4 against Chase Anderson who is 4-5 for Milwaukee. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 6:35 p.m. Central Time 7:35 Eastern.
