There were no golfers from Knox County who advanced to the IHSAA Boys Golf state finals after play Thursday at the Washington regional tournament at the Country Oaks golf course in Montgomery. The South Knox Spartans finished 10th in the team standings with a 339 total not good enough to move on in the tournament series. The team title was won by Evansville North with 298. Vincennes Lincoln golfer Wyatt Roberts competed in the regional as an individual and carded a 78 total also not good enough to move on to the state finals next week. Adam Bratton of Castle was the regional medalist with 70.
