Chicago area golfer Trey Tussey captured the 2018 Silverthorne Auto Lawrence County Open golf tournament this past weekend at the Lawrence County Country Club. He carded a two day total of eight under 136 to win the title by one shot over Matt Davis who was second with 137. Three time defending champion Zach Manley was third at 138. The “A”flight champion was Rob Dean of Mt Carmel, “B”flight champion was Tom Senger of Bridgeport. “C” flight champion was Rick Tennison of Evansville, “D” flight winner was Tom Wuerth also of Evansville and the Senior flight champ was Jim Synder of Vincennes.
