A line of strong thunderstorms hit the Lawrence and Knox County areas Thursday morning. Local and area law enforcement report a wide variety of damage. The damage came mostly from downed trees and tree limbs which struck homes and vehicles; causing severe damage. There were also reports of downed power lines and power outages.
