CUBS RALLY LATE TO BEAT PIRATES

Anthony Rizzo sparked a late rally with his ninth homer of the season leading the Chicago Cubs to an 8-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday in game two of their series at PNC Park. Rizzo tied the game and two batters later Ian Happ doubled to give the Cubs the lead. Kyle Schwarber added to the lead with a two run homer off the right field foul pole in the eighth inning. Jon Lester pitched 6 innings allowing four runs to pick up the win while Pirate reliever Edgar Santana took the loss. Jason Heyward also added three hits for the Cubs. The Cubs try for a sweep of the three game series Wednesday when they send Kyle Hendricks (4-3) to the mound against Joe Musgrove (1-0). The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning at 5:30 Central Time 6:30 Eastern with the pregame.
