Congratulations to Lawrenceville High school junior Cole Sumner. He finished 3rd in the pole vault final at the Class A track and field meet Saturday at Eastern Illinois University at Charleston. Sumner recorded a vault of 14 feet 9 inches which was good enough to make him a medalist in the event. Kyle Kruhtoff from Erie won the event with a vault of 15 feet 6 inches.
