Wabash County State’s Attorney Cassandra Goldman announced that a Mt. Carmel man was sentenced in Wabash County Circuit Court. 54 year-old Scott Funkhouser was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of failure to register as a violent offender against youth. That will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Funkhouser is also required to pay fines as well as court costs.
