CUBS RALLY LATE FOR WIN IN ATLANTA

Ben Zobrist came through with a two-out run scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 3-2 win Tuesday night over the Atlanta Braves at Suntrust Field. They trailed 2-1 after Ronald Acuna Jr broke a 1-1 tie with a mammoth homer in the bottom of the eighth off reliever Carl Edwards Jr. Back to back doubles by Albert Almora Jr and Addison Russell tied the game setting up Zobrist’s heroics. Game two of the three game series is Wednesday night with Tyler Chatwood (3-3) going for the Cubs and Brandon McCarthy (4-2) pitching for the Braves.
