Freshman Katie Moore of the Red Hill Lady Track and Field Salukis is heading to state. She won two events on Thursday at the Class 1A sectional at Altamont. Moore won the 100 meter high hurdles in 16:35 and the 300 meter low hurdles in 46:28. She will compete in those events at the IHSA Girls state meet next weekend at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. Teutopolis won the sectional title with 115 points, Newton was second with 95, Robinson third with 47 and Toledo Cumberland was fourth with 43. The Lady Salukis were ninth with 26 points while the Lawrenceville Lady Indians did not score in the meet.
