The struggles continue for the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians. The Tribe lost Tuesday to Edwards County 8-5 in non-conference play at Unit 20 Ballpark. The visiting Lions scored 8 runs on 6 hits and were benefited by 12 walks from Indian pitching. The Indians scored 5 runs on 12 hits and committed an error. Cale Powell had 3 hits and Connor O’Dell, Christian Beaman, and Jarrett Winkles each had 2. O’Dell also drove in 3. Powell took the pitching loss going only 3 innings with Eli Ivers and Ethan Kelly finishing up. The Indians head across the river into Indiana Wednesday to play a rescheduled contest at South Knox.
