The Lawrenceville Lady Indian track and field team won a three team meet Monday at Mt Carmel. They were first with 63 points followed by the Red Hill Lady Salukis with 55 and host Mt Carmel with 43. Leading the way for the Lady Indians was Alexia Petty who captured 3 events–the 200 meters, 100 meters, and the long jump. Jayde Seitzinger won the shot put, and the 4 x 800 meter relay team was victorious. It was another record setting day for Red Hill Lady Saluki freshman Katie Moore. She won three events–the 300 IH, the 100 HH, and the 800 meters. Her time of 2:26:02 in the 800 set a new school record in that event breaking the old mark of 2:29:34 set in 2016 by Sarah Buchanon. Baylee Frederick won the 400 meters, Ryann Griesmer the high jump, and Maddie Hobbs the triple jump for the Lady Salukis. The 4 x 400 meter relay team for the Lady Salukis also were winners.
