One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lawrenceville Sunday morning. Vehicles driven by Mary Carrico and Brandon Goble collided at the intersection of 11th and Lexington. The impact of the collision forced Carrico’s vehicle into an Ameren CIPS utility pole. Carrico was injured and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Goble was not injured. Lawrenceville Police cited Carrico for driving without insurance. Police also cited Goble for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
