A Lawrenceville man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County Sunday morning. James Bible was driving north on Illinois Route 1 just south of County Road 1620 North in Bond Township when he lost control of his vehicle on the wet pavement. Bible’s crew cab truck went off the roadway and into a ditch before overturning. Bible initially refused medical treatment for his injuries at the scene; but was later taken by private vehicle to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
