Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum announced Friday that Animal Shelter Director Laura Arial has resigned. Arial has spent the last four years of serving as the director for the shelter, but has chosen to pursue other opportunities at this time. Leah Vantlin has been named as the new Animal Shelter Director. Vantlin has been an employee of the shelter for the past four years and was a volunteer for several years prior to become a part of the staff.
