BASEBALL SALUKIS KNOCK OFF INDIANS IN COUNTY RIVALRY

The Red Hill Baseball Salukis rode solid pitching from Landen Ray and homers from Ray and Mitchell Nash to an 8-4 victory over the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport Thursday.  The Salukis scored 8 runs on 6 hits and made 2 errors while the Tribe plated 4 runs on 10 hits and made 2 errors. Cameron Gross had 2 hits for the Salukis while Eli Ivers had 3 hits for the Indians. Ray won on the mound allowing 8 hits but walked none and struck out 12. He bested Cale Powell of the Indians who went 4 inning allowing 5 hits, walked 6 and struck out 5. With the win, the Salukis break a two game losing streak and are now 2-7. The Indians are now 2-3 and had their 2 game winning streak halted.
