CUBS BLAST PIRATES BEHIND BAEZ

Javier Baez homered twice for the second straight day helping the Chicago Cubs pound the Pittsburgh Pirates at Wrigley Field 13-5 Wednesday night. Kris Bryant added three hits and drove in two, Albert Almora Jr also had three hits and Ben Zobrist drove in two as the Cubs scored their highest run total of the young season. It was also their first home win. The two teams will play the rubber game of the series Thursday afternoon with Trevor Williams (2-0) going for the Pirates and Kyle Hendricks (0-0) for the Cubs. The contest can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pre-game at 12:45 p.m. Central 1:45 p.m. Eastern time.
