BASEBALL INDIANS WIN SLUGFEST

The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians won a wild game on the road Tuesday as they outlasted Hutsonville-Palestine 13-11 at Hutsonville. The Tribe scored their 13 runs on 12 hits and committed 2 errors. Hutsonville had 11 runs on 9 hits and made 3 errors. Ethan Kelly was the third of 3 Indian pitchers on the day and worked 4 innings to pick up the win. He also had 2 hits on the day. Corey Carrell had 3 hits and drove in 2 runs, Christian Beamon drove in 3 with a triple and Conner O’Dell and Noah Weger each drove 2 runs. The Indians are 2-2 with their second win in a row and will travel to Bridgeport Thursday to meet the Red Hill Salukis.
