The Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians flexed their offensive muscles Monday in a romp over the Marshall Lady Lions 13-3 in 6 innings at Phil Alsman Field. They scored 13 runs on 13 hits and committed 2 errors while Marshall was held to 3 runs on 5 hits and made 2 errors. Abby Gartner picked up the pitching win and also had 3 hits. Jayley Akers homered among her 2 hits and drove in 6 runs, Katelyn Higginbotham added 3 hits, Haleigh Hoke drove in 3 runs on 2 hits, and Elizabeth Steffey had 2 hits including a home run. With the win, the Lady Indians are 3-3.
