A Bloomington fire captain is accused of sex crimes against children. Robert Sears was arrested Friday morning for child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor. Fire Chief Jason Moore says that once formal charges are filed, he’ll recommend Sears be put on unpaid leave. Sears has been with the department for 20 years.
