Vincennes University Police are investigating a possible hate crime which was reported Monday morning. According to the police report, an unknown male made racial slurs at a male student. The assailant also allegedly told the student to return to his dorm. While the student was starting to leave, the attacker reportedly lowered his weapon and ran away. No one was injured. The assailant was reportedly showing a firearm and wearing a white head covering. University police are actively reviewing video and other evidence.
