A single-vehicle fatal accident in Sullivan County is under investigation. The accident occurred early Sunday morning on South Third Street in Merom near the Merom Cemetery. Sullivan County authorities say the driver left the roadway after losing control of their pick-up truck around a curve. The truck traveled across a grass field and caught fire. The name of the driver has not yet been released pending autopsy results. Investigation into the accident continues.
