Authorities are investigating the death of a Palestine man. Palestine Police Chief Jeff Besing says he was responding to a request for a wellness check Tuesday when he found the body of 56 year-old Donald Kimberlin, inside his residence. Besing says there is no evidence of foul play, but investigation into Kimberlin’s death continues. Crawford County Coroner Earl Deckard and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services have been called in to assist.
