The Parkview Lady Braves 8th grade basketball team is looking for a new head coach. The Lawrence Unit 20 Board of Education Wednesday night accepted the resignation of Jody Cannon. Cannon is stepping down to concentrate more time on her position as the junior varsity coach of the Lawrenceville Lady Indians. She is in her first year in that job under new Lady Indian varsity head coach Tad Shick. Unit 20 officials say the position will now be posted.
