SALUKIS RALLY TO END INDIANS SEASON IN REGIONAL

For the fourth time this season the Red Hill basketball Salukis beat their Lawrence County rivals the Lawrenceville Indians. This time however the win ended the Tribe season in the Class 2A regional tournament at LHS 59-54. It was not easy .  The Indians led 16-13 after one quarter and expanded the margin to 33-21 at the half.  The lead was 43-34 after three quarters before the Salukis rallied and the Indians faltered down the stretch. Zeus Marsh led the Indians with 17 points in the loss with Conner O’Dell adding 12 and Jordan Jones 11 as the squad ended their season at 5-21 with two losses in a row. For the Salukis who improve to 13-14 with their second straight win, Corbin Shoulders had 19, Drew Moore 16, and Parker Havill 10. The Salukis advance to the regional semifinals Tuesday at 6p.m. against Mt Carmel.
